hi, i wonder if a raspberry pi 3 is powerfull enough to serve as mediaplayer running mc24 on ubuntu? I have a master license. Media is stored on a NAS so it will be streamed over cable.

Currently i use a windows 7 system with core i3 and this works fine but this system died on me...

Any current experiences are welcome ..

thanks koen

A couple things...

1) A Raspberry Pi really isn't powerful enough to do video. In my own limited testing with video on a Pi in general, I wouldn't recommend using one for video.

2) If I recall correctly MC running on a Raspberry Pi doesn't support video yet. If I had to guess why (or one of the reasons why) it'd be because the Pi isn't powerful enough to handle video.
