License key lost after change of Computer Name

JRiver seems to lose my (Windows and macOS) license key occasionally.

I usually don't understand why, but this time I did: I changed my Windows computer name.

It seems a bit odd to me, that JRiver loses its license key because of this.

Yes, changing your computer's name on Windows, macOS and Linux can cause MC to lose its registration. Having JRiver Media Center registered depends on several things, including the name of the computer. When you change it, then MC will lose the registration and you'll have to re-register again. So it's normal in that regard.
