How to activate VST plug-ins without having to first open DSP Studio?

Whenever I open up Media Center, the VST plug-ins I often use will not be activated (even though inside DSP studio they have the checkbox checked) until I open up DSP Studio. This is kind of annoying, because I have plug-ins that I have turned on by default always, such as IK Multimedia's ARC 2 System for room/speaker correction. So how can I set Media Center so whatever I have in DSP studio checked will automatically activate when I open up Media Center?

Check your VST doesn't have the "Process only when viewed" option checked under DSP Studio->Options (top right of screen)?

Try adding exclusions in your antivirus program.
