 I want to build a new single library from online sources like Spotify (or something similar). How do I access the Spotify music and import it into JRiver Library. I have managed to get my CD’s imported to JRiver but can’t find anything about how to import data from online sources. Could someone assist me or at least point me to the correc forum group.

I don't think you can import anything from streaming services. I can think of multiple reasons off the top of my head; for example offline downloads from streaming services likely have some form of DRM. I would be highly surprised if you could import from streaming services.

Thanks for the info. JRiver doesn’t appear to be the tool I need to expand my music library yet keep everything in a single non-proprietary environment. Too bad it looked promising.

I don't think such a thing exists. And even if it did, the streaming companies (Spotify, Pandora, Google, Amazon, Apple, Qobuz, Tidal, etc.) would likely sue any software developers developing such a thing into oblivion. That, and the majority if not all of the streaming services use proprietary tech, closed APIs and DRM.

I'm afraid that I don't think what you're trying to achieve is possible. If you want a non-proprietary music library, you'd have to build one yourself using your own files and avoid streaming services altogether.
