Just wondering, when I import the girder file into Girder and open it, the whole group called: mjextman commands has a red cross and circle through it?

I'd much rather use this group than the other one as it will allow me to control MC when it is not in focus.

Why is it crossed out? How do I uncross it and use it?

It's crossed out because it's disabled. I prefer to use the WPARAM commands since MC9 is the only application running on my music box.

To enable/disable a command or group of commands in Girder, select the object in the tree and click the "Enabled" checkbox to the right of the tree (near the top of the window).

I'm not sure I'm familiar with that feature...is it in MC or in Girder? What gets shifted?

It's a girder feature.

U press one button and it toggles your remote so that you can then use every single button for a second purpose.

In effect doubling the number of buttons u have on your remote.

It's talked about in their forum.

Gotcha. It's basically enabling/disabling groups of commands in your Girder tree. When Girder receives an event (like an IR code), it starts looking down its tree sequentially to find a matching command. When it finds one, it then executes that command.

What that means in a practical sense is that you can assign the same 19 IR codes to 2 sets of 19 commands. Each set of commands is in their own Girder folder. You can then use your 20th IR command to toggle the "enabled" state of the first group of commands. When the first group is enabled/on, your other 19 IR codes will match the commands in that group. When the first group is disabled/off, the IR events will skip the first group and match the second group's commands. The 20th IR code (the shift/toggle command) would be the first event & command listed in the tree.

I dont think this is how it works.
I could be wrong but I dont think so.

Having said that, If I'm right and this isn't how it works then u could in fact get even more use out of the buttons by simply using your technique.

Combined with using the OSD this could really give the remote a LOT of power to let it do all kinds of things on the computer.

Press it once puts it in MC mode - display says: MC
press it again it goes to mouse mode - display says: Mouse
Again does WMP mode - display says: WMP

etc. It's going to be a great thing to play around with.
