Open Live - ASIO

Can the MCC command:

20035   MCC_OPEN_LIVE   ignore

be used to open the ASIO input?  I need to be able to open the live input at startup, so this may work.  Or, if not, is there an alternative way of doing this?

MCC_OPEN_LIVE  will open the dialog, not actually automatically open the device.
What might work is saving the filename the Open Live dialog generates, and just "playing" that filename, that should in theory trigger the live plugin.
