No sound from play-back on YouTube (yes, JRiver related)

Hi.
I used to run into this problem frequently: playback from YouTube would have no sound, unless I restarted my Mac (Mojave). Then, in some forum, I was told that JRiver somehow controls the speaker/output source in a way that will exclude other programs. At least YouTube. The solution was as simple as to uncheck one option, then check another. But I can't remember which or where. As far as I can see, it was not in this forum, nor in the Norwegian Mac group on FB.
Could someone please help?

MC's Options > Audio > Device settings and uncheck the option for exclusive access.
