Yeah, I noticed that right off the bat with 1809, and assumed it was a "feature".

1809 is spectacularly broken.
I updated to it the other day on one of my systems because I thought it had been long enough and I had not been hearing constant news about issues with it, it was said to fix some of the issues I was having on 1803 like Bluetooth audio controls, but ended up breaking Hyper-V, none of the UWP apps display icons any more, PNG files do not display thumbnails in Explorer any more, and I have run into several other weird issues like that.

I've been able to fix some of them, but it's probably going to end up like 1803 where I'm using a half-broken OS for another 6+ months until they fix some of those issues and add some more.
I'm not sure whether to roll back to 1803, as 1809 did some of the issues I was having, but it's more that I'm not convinced that it will downgrade 'safely'.

After picking up one of the new iPad Pros recently, I find that I am using it for significantly more than any previous iPad (the Pencil is a big contributing factor there) and it's really making me want to ditch Windows altogether.
