License File is for a different product
« on: January 06, 2019, 04:40:08 pm »

I had a very old version of Media Center (somewhere in the teens I think) and have no idea what my email address may have been at the time so downloaded a new version.  The trial period ran out a couple weeks ago but I had not been using so just got around to the point of licensing.  I launched the product, clicked on the purchase link, entered the credit card info, etc. and bought a new license.  I clicked on the link to install the license and receive the error message  "Your license file is for a different product".  I had no problem running the product in trial mode.

Make sure you use the most recent version of Media Center 24 (24.0.72), since the license was upgraded recently.

Had to completely uninstall. download a new version, and re-install, then the license file applied clean
