What's the best way to start troubleshooting this?

Make sure you're running the latest copy of Media Center because we've made some improvements.

That was it.

I would like to push that request also as a "not native English speaker".

As far as I understand the metadata mostly come from TMDB. This site is available in diffrent languages, and if you change the language switch in the options for that metadata you get the metadata for instance in German language. The trailer link in MC also seem to point to TMDB that also hosts trailers and covers (also in diffrent languages available on that site!). But the trailer link does not change when you switch the language in the "look up metadata" field.

Is it possible to have MC looking up the available trailer in the language that is selected, as they are mostly available trough TMDB.
Maybe only if a forreign language trailer is not available on that site use English as a "fallback" language, so there is always a trailer found to the related movie.

The ability to switch languages for the metadata was a huge step forward for all foreign users once implemented in MC23(?) and personally improved how also my kids can now use MC without limitations and understand movie summaries or TV episode titles.

Thanks and keep up the great work!

At the movie list, you drill into a title and choose the trailer, when the trailer ends, it kicks you back to the file list.
I feel it ought to drop you back where you came from.
Anyone have an opinion about this?

+1
Again, late to the party, but just noticed this in 25.0.101 (64 bit) and I agree, it should drop you back where you selected the trailer

stanzani:
How should I deal the case where the movie folder presents already aone or more trails? actually the get imported as regular video and I stack the trailers together with the main movie file but I do not like this option. I also experimented a 'Trailer' video subtype but I am not too much happy as well
Thanks
