MC25 looks great. I got it installed on my Server today, then proceeded to install on my four Clients.

But I forgot about the "auto import" and the infamous countdown timer and now I have 2151 files that reside on the client machine in a new Client library that I need to deal with. I only use the Server's Library on the client machines.

So this brings up the question again - do we need to have the "auto-import with the countdown timer"? Can't MC just the let the Installer (User) pick the library/files they want to import instead of MC making the decision? Even a popup that sits there until it gets a response for Installer would be better than a countdown.

Wasn't that fixed by unchecking the "Options > Library & Folders > Auto-import > Run import on empty libraries" setting?

If you Client's Main Library was empty when you upgraded, but you had unchecked that setting, I thought MC didn't try to run Auto-Import. But there may have been some exceptions, or I could be misunderstanding how that works.

I don't know if that setting was checked or not (I assume not).
I didn't even know that was the fix for the "auto import" complaint. Would anyone else (other than most expedience users) know about that fix? Seems to me to it would be more User friendly to just do away with the countdown timer.

But that's the last you will of this from me until MC26.
