Certain Flacs not being imported to MC
scol78:
Im a complete newbie to MC and just looking for a little help.
Ive got MC rigged up to my gear and running great,2TB of FLACS on a HD usb to iMac with an endpoint Cambridge 851N Streamer.
After auto import around 50 files were not imported within there folder, eg Folder name.... Alan Parsons Project...containing 12 albums....
Of the 12 albums only 4 were imported.
The other 8 could only be found in the Album search category.
Why does this happen on certain files only.
All my Flacs on HD are albums within group named folders

I don't understand what you mean, only 4 were imported but you could find the other 8 (which implies they were imported)?

Try using the Audio > Files view from the left hand navigation area. Use the "Location" pane that appears at the top of this Files view to drill down into that Alan Parsons directory. Now, look for the files you are missing. Are they there? If so, then they are just missing metadata. If not, there may be something bigger going on.
Another way to do this is to search for a file name of one of the missing files. Choose a fairly unique file name so you don't get too many false matches. Just type a part of the file name into the search box at the upper right. If it's imported, searching by file name will always work to find it.

The files have been imported. Can only be found during an album search.
But not within the folder as in the external HD.(Alan Parsons Project Folder)
Im just wondering why their missing from that folder ?
Most of my FLACS were imported to MC within their band names folders
