Question for adding media to a Library
« on: January 12, 2019, 07:02:11 pm »

Hello. I am sorry for this noob question but I have spent about 30 minutes trying to find out what is going on.  I don't really understand the jriver library concept.  I have a server and I was able to add my folders that i want to scan my media. It seemed to work. However, Now when I add media to those folders it never populates in JRiver. I thought the sync option would help but that seems like it is for another function.    FWIW, I think JRiver is very powerful and a great 4K media player but the library UI and understanidng how it all works is lost on me....  any tips or tricks I should be doing?  I would think If I add stuff to the folder it would automatically scan it and add. I can play the existing stuff no problem so its not connectivity per say.

I have one folder called XYZ that contains a bunch of files i have another folder called 123 that has files.  Is that how it should be set up?

Is Auto-Import configured to monitor your media root folder?
