I currently run MC on a iMac with connected 2TB HD...ethernet to a Cambridge 851N streamer...everything works great/fast and plays all my hi res audio directly and keeping artwork on the 851N screen.This I lost with Roon and also had to run a SMS200 to play hi res stuff.
My question is would I benefit in anyway at all by running MC on a NUC connected directly to the 851N by USB.
The only benefit I can see is ,the MAC doesn't have to stay switched on 24/7.
Someone mentioned It would give a large improvement sound wise,i don't see how ?
