Hi ,

I am using MC to play stereo backing tracks (FLAC) on stage and I have recently hit this issue.

Playback is stuttered and speeds up and slows down randomly for some songs.

I am using a brand new Dell laptop output is via USB to a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6.

I have gig tonight and Im stressed out big time. Neither windows media player nor vlc exhibit the same issue playing the same files to the same sound card via usb. I have tried both Wasapi and ASIO selected in audio output but it still has issues.

I'm at a loss because the same files also play perfectly well on my HTPC via HDMI to my receiver.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have playlists set up in JRiver MC and I dont want to have to learn how use those other programs.

If the files are local, it's possible that antivirus software is causing the problem.
