JRiver plays 15 seconds of a track and moves to the next track

Tweezer:
How can I fix it so JRiver will play the whole track?  It plays a few seconds of each track then skips to the next one.

this is intermittent. 
Then sometimes I get a pop-up that says "Spinning up Drive"

Any assistance appreciated.
