Problem with WASAPI lopback
« on: February 11, 2019, 11:14:20 am »

Hi,

I trying to stream audio:

 - from the BBC Sounds website (Firefox browser running on my PC)

 - via JRiver MC24.0.75 (64-bit) running on my PC

 - to my DLNA renderer: Cambridge Audio Azur 851N

To do this, I make sure that the 851N is selected in JRiver as the output channel, then I click on File > Open Live... > WASAPI Loopback
After a few seconds, I see the message "Something went wrong with playback." The audio from the website doesn't get as far as the 851N.

I can hear the audio from the website on the headphone output of the PC's soundcard.

I can play files (MP3, FLAC...) via JRiver to the 851N.

The PC is Intel + Windows 10.

Can anybody help me? Or have I misunderstood the concept of loopbacK?

TIA,
PC
