How to see chrome debug console in track info html display?
« on: February 10, 2019, 09:18:05 am »

I can run the track info page html in chrome browser and press f12 to see the console. Is there a way to see the console when running it as a track info display within JRiver?

MC uses the Chromium web browser, not Chrome. There is a difference.

Does the F12 function exist in Chromium?
Is the Console even available in Chromium?

You may want to research those questions.

The answer was: You aren't comparing apples with apples when you compare Chrome to Chromium.

So research whether Chromium has a console view or not, and if it does, see if can be activated in MC, and if it can't, see if JRiver would make that feature available.

Over to you.

Media Center uses the Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF), not Chrome.

I don't think you can access the developer tools, including the console, with CEF in Media Center. I'd actually be surprised if you could.
