When i stream video playback on iOS using JRemote from MC server the video freezes consistently after 5-6 minutes. It cannot be paused, or resumed, or restarted without the same issue. Playback using Gizmo on android sony xperia phone plays full video with no problem. Video is mkv uncompressed blu ray rips.

I believe Bob is aware of this issue, it's an old one.

One solution: start playback for a minute or so then hit pause. Wait a few minutes and unpause. It should then play the whole video.

Ah, OK, tried your solution but unfortunately doesn't help. Does anyone know if Panel works differently, or does it simply incorporate JRemote software?

When I have tried panel it has streamed OK but you can't get full screen video on iOS.

I haven't tried video in Panel lately, but you may be able to get full-screen working if you enable the "Fullscreen API" option in Safari's Experimental Features settings (via the Settings App).
