Random thumbnails
« on: February 22, 2019, 07:22:11 am »

Hi

I have a Cambridge Audio CXN, I normally run this as a zone via MC using JRemote

Recently I ran it using the Cambridge Audio Connect app as DLNA, the thumbnails in the app bear no resemblance to what they should be

I have rebuilt thumbnails in the options tree view section

Any ideas?

Sounds like the Cambridge Audio Connect app is caching the thumbnails incorrectly. I think MO4 Media had that issue for a short while. Perhaps search that thread (the Android thread).

Otherwise, I suspect a question for Cambridge Audio.
i.e. Does the App only work with embedded Cover Art?
Can it get thumbnails of Cover Art from a DLNA server?
How does it cache the thumbnails and could it mismatch them to tracks?

You nudged the brain

There is a clear cache function that seems to have worked
