I have two MC clients connected to an MC Server (MC Client Server Model not DLNA). All Win 10/10 PRO. On the server all Cover Art and Thumbnails are correct. On the Client's not every cover art/thumbnail are correct and some are missing. I also see that the size of thumbnails on the server is 2.1 GB where as on the clients its only ~1GB.

Any Idea why this is the case and how to fix this?

Try restarting MC on the server. If you've added / changed files on the server there can be caching of the old material that affects this...

I had already tried that, but that did not help.

I deleted the Cover Art Folder on the Server and restored it through my backup, that solved the problem. (For what reasons ever) ?

I've found deleting the content of the thumbnails directory on the Clients will solve this issue. Better than having to rebuild stuff on the Server, IMO.
