Hello, I have a question, I use JRiver 24 mac on Mojave. I want to know why I always have to press play to open Itune and close it so I can turn up or down the volume , change songs or pause JRiver. Otherwise it does not work, if there is solution, I would like to have it. Thank you !

Are you talking about the media keys on your Mac keyboard?  Play/pause, FF, REW, Vol+, Vol-.  I've read a few reports of media key handling changing in newer versions of OSX, but I haven't experienced it myself as I no longer use a Mac keyboard with my Mac.  Even if I did, I don't like media keys so I wouldn't use them.

If you aren't talking about media keys, please tell us what you are pressing and when.

Good luck.

Brian.

Good evening, yes indeed I speak well of the multimedia key. I have a Macbook pro mid 2012 13 '' 1tb ssd 16GB ram and when I press play Itunes I make nightmares at night!
