JRiver blocks output from other sources on iMac
« on: March 27, 2019, 12:58:14 pm »

I've posted this regarding some previous version, but didn't bookmark the answer, nor do I remember it.
After installing a new version of MC, there will be no sound from sources like iTunes, YouTube etc on my Mac. I remember it had something to do with the output settings, but this time I can't figure out what. (But I guess it was somewhere inside MC though, DSP or Playback Options.) Any idea?

MC's Settings > Audio > Device settings and uncheck exclusive mode.

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.

Ah! Thanks. In fact, I thought I'd tried that. Maybe it needed to be closed and opened to take effect. Anyway, problem solved! :-)
