iTunes SDK could not be loaded error
« on: March 28, 2019, 03:26:23 am »

I have successfully synced my MC Playlists to my iPhone for some time, but starting today when I choose "Export to iTunes & Phone" I get the error message "The iTunes SDK could not be loaded. This feature requires iTunes to be installed.

I'm running Windows 10 which has all latest updates and I have also reinstalled iTunes just in case that was the issue. I am using MC 23.0.104

Is there a way to fix this eg point MC at the SDK?

EDIT: Decided it was time to update so I have updated to MC 25 and have the same issue.

Apple may have changed something.

I just tested with the latest MC 25 and the latest version of iTunes (also with an older version of iTunes).

Everything worked properly.

Not sure what might be different?

Thanks Jim & Matt. I have solved the problem though it's sudden arrival is strange. If I set MC to Run as Adminstrator it works. Thing is I can get that MC 25 is not set that way since it's a new install, but my old MC 23 install was, well, old. So for it to stop working run as admin if needed would have to have been on then turned off somehow.
