Server start Up Issue?
« on: April 02, 2019, 01:23:23 pm »

I am under the impression that if I enable the Media Server at startup in the options menu, I would be able to play music via JRemote at a remote location (but still within my local network).  Unfortunately, I have to start JRiver Media center to do so.  If my assumption is correct, what is likely to be the cause of the issue?  I know the server has started as I can see it running in the Task manager.

I am using Windows 10 and version 24 of JRiver.

Thanks for any advice/help.

Starting Media Server will enable any server that MC runs -- Library Server, DLNA Server.

You may have a firewall issue.

We don't support jplayer.

Thanks for your reply, I think I need to better understand how the MC server work.
