Hello

Today I started my client pc and noticed that it had no library.
I had to start my server pc and sync my client again.
So I wonder if the client could keep the last synced library instead of loosing it.

I could be wrong and most of the time I am but am pretty sure the server would need to be ON to SERVE the files to the client....

The files I use are on a NAS ( same location for client/server)
When I sync the client..it only syncs pictures, descriptions etc. It doesn't copy files.

But  if I start the client pc the next day...it is searching to sync with the server. With out the server running I have no library.
So I was wondering if it could remember/store the last synced overview of  movies/series synced the day before.
I do not update the server/files daily..so it doesn't need sync every time.

I solved it

-setup WOL on both client and Server
-run Media server on start-up on Server-pc
-have server-pc sleep instead of shut down.

When we use theatre view on the client, the server-pc will wake up and serve the library to the client.
