I use the WDM driver to play netflix with audio through JRiver on my system and it works fine.  But when trying to set the same kind of thing up for a friend on his system with both MC ver. 23 and a download trial of ver 25, no matter what I do all I get is "IPC opening" and no sound ever. 

I have searched all the threads related to WDM and IRC and nothing I could find helped.  Anyone have any experience fixing this?

Not sure if it matters but his PC is an older i7 Intel processor, Windows 10, Lynx AES16 digital sound card for AES/EBU output into his DAC.
