I'll add here a request for a few improvements to the Media Editor, mostly playback-related.

1. Keyboard shortcuts for the basic playback functions (Play/Stop etc.)
2. Pause function (Stop is different, pressing Play again does not Pause)
3. Easier way to disable Left or Right channel. This seems currently possible by right-clicking but it's not easy to accomplish, since it also interferes with the selection.
4. Add a few DSP Studio effects, such as Tempo and Pitch.
