Upgrade Prices and Help
JimH:
You can now order a JRiver Media Center 26 upgrade license at a discount.
Early builds of JRiver Media Center 26 are now available on the Download Page. These will improve on MC25, and MC26 will continue to improve throughout the year.
Upgrade Prices
You can use a license from any previous version of JRiver Media Center, even Media Jukebox 8.0, to upgrade.
The discounted price to upgrade for Windows, Mac or Linux is $26.98. A Master License upgrade for all three OS's is $36.98.
INSTRUCTIONS
To direct you, we need to check a few things.
1. Have you ever purchased MC?
If not, there is no upgrade price. Sorry. Here's how to download and purchase a license.
2. Do you have your Registration Code for your older version?
If not, you can email it to yourself by using option #2 on the Restore Page.
Now you're ready to purchase, but we need to know what OS you have and what license you want.
3. Are you planning to use more than one OS?
If so, you will need a Master License, which works with Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can purchase from the Help menu of a current version or you can go here:
Master License Upgrade (direct link)
5. Or do you only need Windows or only Mac or only Linux?
Then you can get the new license here:
Windows Upgrade (direct link)
Mac Upgrade (direct link)
Linux Upgrade (direct link)
Problems
Is your license not accepted when you upgrade?
Make sure you're on the right upgrade page.
Use copy and paste. 0 (zero) and O (letter) look alike. So do 1 (number one) and l or I (letters).
Don't have your license? Visit the Restore Page and use option #2 to email yourself your license(s).
More
Restore your license
Restoring a backup of your library. MC makes them automatically. You can use your OS to search for zip files to find them. MC can restore a backup from MC20 and above.
You can use translate.google.com to translate this page.

Questions or Problems?
Where is MC26?
hkurtz5:
Hi, I just purchased an MC25 upgrade for my Linux OS and saw that for $8.00 more I could have gotten the Master License. AT the time I did not choose to do that, but I'd like to go ahead and get the Master license if I could still get for the extra $8.00.
My new, MC25, license is the following, [redacted -- please don't post your license].
Please let me know, thank you,
Henry S. Kurtz
hkurtz5:
thanks, just thought about that!!!
JimH:
You have mail.
kmmcd:
IN order to begin the process of upgrading from MC22 to MC24 (or am I upgrading to MC25?), I have requested that my registration code be emailed to me. I quickly received an email containing several links, which includes a sequence of characters that is not explicitly identified as a registration code but looks like this (although this is not my actual code but is for purposes of illustration):
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Is the above the registration code that I need to use when I upgrade?
thanks
Keith
