Ripping cds using MC25(Linux) is it possible?

I may have missed this somewhere, however is it not possible to rip my cds to my library in MC25 for Linux?
It only look like it supports importing files to my Library even though Tools->Options->encoding is set to use FLAC.
under devices in the left pane, nothing is listed even though I have a usb CD/DVD drive connected and Mint sees the drive and the disk.
Any help would be appreciated.

As far as I know, CD ripping isn't supported on Linux yet.

I'm disappointed as this is a deal breaker for me at this time, I was really hoping to be able to ditch my windows version.
Do you know if this is on the dev road map and if it has been made a priority?

It's something we'd like to do, but I can't say when it might happen.

Thanks JimH keep up the good work! I have been using JRiver since its beginnings.
I am very excited to finally see a linux version coming together.
