NVIDIA stops support for 3D from 430 driver
tij:
Starting from NVIDIA 430 driver, you will lose the ability to output frame pack 3D (stereoscopic setting in NVIDIA control panel just disappear
and it will disappear from Windows Display Setting)
madVR will output 3D as SBS (side by side) or OU (over/under)
latest driver that still got stereoscopic settings is 425.31 and supports
another bloody nail into 3D coffin
if AMD still supports 3D when its time for me to upgrade, that's where my money will go
lousy NVIDIA
could not left it alone (could have drop support but still leave it there)
Hendrik:
New TVs discontinued 3D as well. Everyone needs to face that its eventually just going to go away.

TV's
tij:
Last frontier are projectors ... those are still available in 3D ... when projectors stop 3D ... it will be final nail in the coffin
In 2017 we lost 3D TV ... 2019 NVDIA drops it ... 2021 projectors drop it?
I personally enjoy movies in 3D ... its not practical for everyday TV ... but for dedicated movie watch its fun
I will cling to this till one of component in my video chain that support 3D will fail on me
