If my pcm only dac ,  plays dsd DoPE , does this mean it’s actually using it?

Did you enable bitstreaming in the Audio Options?

i cannot enable bitstr....  that is disabled.
i have to go to dlna advanced and enable  advanced/ditstream dsd {requires D0PE requires DoPE enabled dac.

dsp studio is disabled while selecting streaming, .
i just select  options media network.

I didn't catch that you were running it over DLNA.

In the DLNA server settings enable DoPE as you have then set the audio format to Original.

If the dsd files play then you are playing DoPE.

Thank you Bob

You see,  I know The CXN converts dsd to pcm at 176 kHz,
I wanted to see if it played dop.

Yes it is set to original, and also set to DoPe,

It plays fine,  for what I understand is that dop ect fools the chip into playing the dsd file without changing converting.

Cambridge tec didn’t understand dop,  I was gob smacked,
