mediacenter 24 ubuntu 18.04 - does not recognize USB CD drive

(1/1)

vmartell:
Not sure what  information is needed - drive is recognized by ubuntu and mounts the audio CD  - can see it on the file manager - however media center is unable to recognize the drive - even when I try to play from the mount point, media center just hangs. Any more info needed - or is there a well known fix for this.

Thanks in advance

Awesome Donkey:
Unfortunately if I recall correctly, MC for Linux support for CDs/DVDs/BDs hasn't been added yet (and the same goes for ripping CDs as well). Hopefully at least partial support can be added sometime during the MC25 cycle, but there's no ETA or anything other than it being on JRiver's to-do list.
