DSD Direct Streaming
« on: May 01, 2019, 01:02:32 pm »

hello,
recently purchased a Hiby R6Pro, installed USB Audio Player Pro and HiFiCast. the first time i played / streamed DSD files from my laptop to the R6Pro (using the apps i have mentioned) by choosing GENERIC DLNA as the server, no file conversion took place, and DSD files were playable. however, recently, i noticed that the DSD files were being resampled to 24-352.8kHz, and all i can hear is a high pitched sound, with no music being played. i cannot recall what i did which ended up to this. all the settings in the R6Pro were not changed, as well as the setting on the apps that i installed. can you please help me restore the MC25 settings in which i would be able to play / stream DSD files directly to the R6Pro without resampling the file to 24-352.8kHz? thank you.

You need to specify original format in the DLNA server's Audio setting
If the device requires DoP format you need to check that under the DLNA server's advanced setting.
