NEW: Play Doctor Meets Cloudplay

(1/8) > >>

JimH:
In build 45, JohnT added the ability to use the entire Cloudplay library to supplement your own.  The Cloudplay library currently has 55,000 lossless tracks.

Start playback with Play Doctor and MC will find new content on our servers.

You need to turn it on by stopping playback, going to Playing Now and setting the option.

4. NEW: Cloudplay integration with Play Doctor. Use the options dropdown 'Include files from Cloudplay' to add to your Play Doctor playlist.  You can also set the percentage of files that come from the Cloudplay server.

Use the options link to the right of Play Doctor here:

JimH:
Two new improvements in 25.0.48 (available later this week):

1.  In the Options just described above, you can now set what percentage of the tracks come from Cloudplay and from your local machine.  I set mine to 90% just to see what it would do.  So far, it's great.

2.  Once you have it set up, you can more easily start Play Doctor from the Cloud by right clicking on any audio file, then choosing, Other Play Options > Play Doctor from the Cloud.

These changes really give you a customizable radio station.

Sounds cool, I'll be checking it out soon.

Is this something that could make it's way to JRiver for Android?

Probably.

I don't see this option on Play Doctor. I'm on Build 25.0.54.
