Drop out [Solved]

Why are there dropouts when playing audio files? I only use .FLAC files
This occurs 5 to 6 times a day.
It never happens, but really never when I use foobar2000

You might try increasing the buffering.

Options > Audio > Prebuffering

and

Options > Audio > Device Settings... > Buffering

OK, I passed the values to 10 seconds instead of 6 and I also changed (Buffering) to the maximum.
I will test hoping that it will be better.

Well, it did not work, I now have digital clicks. (Worse than before)

What is the audio device you're playing to?

What driver?  Did you try another?

You might try switching between ASIO and WASAPI.  You might need to install the ASIO driver from the manufacturer, but that's normally best.

You could also try the option for exclusive output in WASAPI settings.

I am playing flac files all day long with no drop-outs at all, with varying bitrates etc. So I would assume that something on your system is interfering with MC's functionality. What is the device you are playing to and what type of connection is being used? On which type of device are your audio files stored?

Bon, après une installation nouvelle de Windows 10 dans sa nouvelle version de mai 2010 et l'utilisation des pilotes ASIO de JRiver tout est rentré dans l'ordre et tout fonctionne impeccablement.

Merci à ceux qui ont essayé de m'aider dans une tâche qui n'était pas facile.
