Selecting the library to play from via the JRemote
« on: June 21, 2019, 02:15:14 pm »

I'm using MC25 on a Mac mini and JRemote on iOS.  When selecting audio to play using the JRemote, I only see the albums listed in the library currently loaded on MC.  Is there any way of loading a different library using the JRemote rather than having to go back to MC on the Mac mini.  I ask for two reasons: i) the Mac mini is a 'headless" - the only display I can use with it is the TV, ii) it is inconvenient to go into the room where the Mac and TV are  (and someone else is watching the TV) when I am listening to the audio in a different room.

Thanks in advance.

I don't believe so. My understanding is that JRemote essentially uses the web based hooks to get into MC, and therefore will use whichever library MC has loaded at that time.

You could possibly have 2 server instances running with different libraries loaded?
