So here's my situation:

I'd like to have the media keys on my keyboard function (Play/Pause, Next/Previous) with Media Center, but allow the volume control to pass through to the system (so I get the volume level overlay popping up when adjusting it and jriver is in the background or minimized). 

When "Options>Volume mode" is set to "Disabled" in Media Center, the volume hotkeys do nothing (the system doesn't receive the command to change the volume as Media Center hijacks the commands and does nothing with them). 
When "Options>Volume mode" is set to "System Volume" the system volume is controlled, but the level overlay doesn't appear.

Any suggestions on how I can get this to work? ?
