Video playback on Raspberry Pi 4B?
Hendrik:
It can play HD just fine. 3D and HDR is not currently supported, and for 4K it probably doesn't have the performance currently.

Thanks. Is there any plan to add 3D to the Pi4 video driver ? I have an old 3D HDTV that needs a device to play Blu-ray ISO from my NAS.
I probably don't have the need for 4K HDR support on the Pi4 as both my 4K displays have more powerful x64 PCs attached to them.
Does video work on any other ARM device ? I have an Odroid XU4 also.
Hendrik:
3D on Pi seems very doubtful, sorry.
Video should work on all ARM devices with a proper OpenGL ES 3.0 driver.

Understand. 3D is a dead format. I don't have too many 3D discs. Still would be nice to be able to continue to play them on the old TV.

Proper, driver and Odroid probably don't belong in the same sentence. I just tried and MC25 doesn't even display the menus on the Odroid XU4 with Ubuntu 18.04.4LTS, just white stuff on top and left sides. The Odroid video driver stuff in general is pretty messed up, as are other video drivers on it. I have even seen the RS232 get messed up and my X10 home automation stop working. Probably won't buy another Odroid product. Though I still wish there was a way to get MC working on it.
