Track Looping?
« on: May 11, 2003, 08:58:05 pm »

I can't find anywhere to loop a track in mc9.  Is it possible?

I would like to see more shortcut keys available too.

Hi,

There's a continuous play mode that will continuously play the content of playing now. If only one track in playing now then it's kind of what you're looking for, is it ?

You can set it either through the menu: 'Player | Player Options | Continuous Play'.
Or through a dedicated button in the Player Window (the leftmost button in the group of three). Continuous play is a toggle control.
You can find more info in the 'excelent' help file section 'Playback / Play Continuously'.

In the hope this can help a little,

Have a nice day,

C.

This feature repeats all tracks in the folder.  I just want to repeat one track over and over before I switch to the next track.

Additionally be able to loop a small portion of any one track.  Both  of these functions are standard on most mp3 players.

I suspected you wanted that !

Then it's not implemented in MC9, sorry.

There's a trick however you can "Add to playing now" the same song several times so as to play it the exact number of times you like but , I know it's not precisely what you wanted.

Might be a feature request for a future version.

Cheers,

C.

Neither capability is standard on Winamp 2 (though there is a third-party plugin which offers the first funtion).
