JRiver Media Center 25.0.88 for Mac -- Available Here

Feature request: can a tag/ field be added that records "last synch", filled with a date? That would help me create Smartlists that rotate through my media based on files not recently synched with my handheld.
I think I've asked for this before; if so, I apologize for the repeat request.

I wonder why those files are not being properly tagged after ripping?

I continue to have this happen occasionally on my MC for Mac installations. In my case I run "auto import" manually, and every now and then, it interprets a video file as data. Simply changing the Media Type to video fixes it every time. But, as you said, I have to go find it in a special data view I have created, just for this purpose.
Brian.

This current build should fix these issues.
There was a problem with JRWorker which analyzes files it thinks are video files crashing.
If you still see an issue with this there may be a corrupt file or something we aren't handling properly in which case it would be useful to know the details of the file that's not importing properly.

I've had the same experience as blgentry has: once I find a file I've ripped and correct the file type in Tags, the file is treated as expected by MC and I get my collection updated.
Since the current build is supposed to fix the issue, perhaps I'll allow the update I've been getting notified about...

--- Quote from: al1947 on August 06, 2019, 03:18:49 pm ---So the good news is that "Drives and Devices" are no longer crashing, per my last bug report. But now 25.0.88 is writing two file extensions to the exported file.
Thus "01_Born_in_the_USA.flac" shows up on the handheld as "01_Born_in_the_USA.flac.flac"
I have tried all manner of syntax for the music Audio Path and Audio Filename Rule parameters -- including those that were working just fine a month ago -- and still the same result.

EDIT: Nevermind, my problem was fixed with 25.25.0.88, as anyone who read the revision notes above knew. Sorry for the cry of, "wolf".
Which is the "latest build" with respect to this post? I just updated to build 25.25.0.81. I can no longer synch a handheld. I've seen two behaviors tonight:
* I was able to select a "Drive and Device" from the tree; however, when I tried to "Synch Handheld" from the Action Window, MC25 would shut down.
When I tried to select a "Drive and Device" form the tree, MC25 would shut down.
*
Please remind me how to reload a previous build? I need to be able to synch external devices.
