I watch some tutorials with MC. In this last update when I click on a segment it starts with a bright green screen. I can clear by clicking to advance the episode and then move back to the beginning.  This happens with some movies as well.

This is usually an incompatibility between a recent Windows update, and the video driver you are running.

For example, I had to update my video driver on my HTPC for the same reason, a green screen in videos, after I allowed it to update to Windows Build 1903.
