Volume bar - resolved

If I recall correctly there used to be a 'slider volume bar" in the header of JRIver for Mac.  It is no longer there and now I need to used command = or command - to raise and lower volume, for system volume.  it was a lot more convenient, and helped me trouble shoot volume issues.  Is a way to bring it  back?

Not sure what happened, but I opened and closed JR twice and low and behold the volume slider is back. Yeah!
