Tracks are played twice

I am experiencing an annoying feature as per subject: if I play an album each track is played twice fpr no appearent reason
Excluding black magic I see two possible options
- I enabled w/o intention some strange playback option
- a bug in the latest MC release

You might check Player>Repeat and ensure that Repeat Off is ticked. That's all I can think off.
