Covert art image inside files

I do not like this so I ask the system to look into the folder as folder.jpg (options)

Neverthless, some files still have the image embedded: can I force, for those, to look for the folder.jpg somehow?

Right click item ... cover art ... add from file

This manually force external cover art

True, so long as the option to save in the file's tag is turned off.

If there are many of these, approaching from this end could get tedious...

The following search... [media type]=[audio] [image file]="inside"

should return all files with embedded cover art.
Select them all, and remove cover art.
Then do a 'quick find in file/cover art directory' on them all to link with the Folder.jpg files.

Test a couple before going wholesale for peace of mind and safety.
