Pressing the Record button in custom poster view brings up shows
« on: September 22, 2019, 08:34:53 pm »

I believe I had an issue in the past where pressing the record button on a guide grid cell would jump to shows if I remember correctly.  I have created a custom view of only movies in my TV guide, and pressing record on my remote when a given cover is in focus brings me to the shows menu.

Can you describe how that can be reproduced?  How was your view setup?  Does record button work correctly when used in the built-in Guide grid?

I'm attaching a picture of the file display rules for my view.  In theater view, the record button responds properly in some list styles while it doesn't in others.  In the regular grid guide things seem to work as they should.  However, when I combine the file display rules below, and these list styles: full screen wall, coverflow, and 3d wall, then the record button jumps to the shows menu.

Thanks for the details.  I confirm that in some list style the record button does not work.  It takes you to "Recorded TV" view instead.
