Why does Media Center want to record my computer's screen?

Juke:
Just updated my Mac to Catalina, Version 10.15.  After starting Media Center, I received the message:  "Media Center 25" would like to record this computer's screen.  My options are to grant access or deny.  Why does MC need to record my screen?

I had the same issue with HDTracks Downloader, denied the request.  I cant imagine why this would be necessary.

If I had to guess, it's something to do with video playback or theater view.

Possibly for Media Center, but for HDTracks Downloader?
