Hello,

I purchased version 25 for 64bit Windows in the past, and that computer ceased to function last month. I have built a new computer, and would like to transfer the former license to it, then upgrade to version 28. The path to complete this isn't very clear to me. I do have the registration code from my purchase of version 25, but the restore process doesn't yield any results, and just asks me what program I want to use to open up the downloaded file after I hit restore with the registration code on my new computer.

You need to install MC25 first, then restore your license.

Or you can install MC27, then restore your license.

Either way, you can restore a backup of your data from MC25.
