copy names used in column / library field

Is there a way to copy out all my list of choices I've used under a certain column or library field?

So lets say under Media Type you could copy out this list
Audio
Data
Image
Playlist
TV
Video

Slept on this one, and still no answer.
Guess I will have to write out each name manually. :(

oh well, what i'm doing instead is taking a screen shot of each list and converting image to text/excel
