Glad to see that 0.394 resolved some issues with scheduled recording:

-- Apparently fixed:

"Could not play" error message on record start.
Not stopping record at the end of the duration

-- Still apparently not fixed:

Doesn't start recording if Media Jukebox is running at start time. Only records if MJ is closed at start time.

Can anyone comment? Is there a fix for this?

Well, it sounds like you've got a handle on the MS command line options & syntax and so it may very well be a bug. But just in case look at the link in my second post of the Sleep Timer topic.

Unfortunately, mjextman.exe /close doesn't seem to work for me. If it did, then I could hack a solution by scheduling a close of MJ before a scheduled record. Of course, the right solution would just be to fix scheduled recording so it works right in the first place.

This has so much potential that it's doubly sad that it doesn't work :-(

Use /Power. I know that works. All the MS options may be case sensitive (so /close <> /Close).

Yes, it was the case that was doing it. "/close" doesn't work, but "/Close" does work.

In the end, I purchased Total Recorder for my scheduled recording needs. Perhaps scheduled recording is just the one thing that MJ doesn't do well. :-)
